Dr. Schuman Chen earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed her externships at SUNY Optometry specialty contact lens, Woodhull Hospital, and New York Ophthalmology. She completed her residency at Fromer Eye Centers. Her clinical education includes pediatrics, specialty contact lenses and co-management of retina and glaucoma.
Dr. Chen is a member of American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and New York State Optometric Association.
Dr. Chen speaks English and Mandarin.
