Dr. Ashka Patel earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed her clinical training with an emphasis on ocular disease at Ezra Medical Center, New York Ophthalmology, and Metro Eye MD. She is trained in providing comprehensive eye exams as well as co-managing pre and post-operative surgical care.
Dr. Patel has been recognized for her outstanding volunteer commitment and community service and she was inducted into the Gold Key International Honor Society. She is also a recipient of the Morton L. Kimmelman Memorial Award for her leadership in organized optometry.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association.
Dr. Patel is fluent in English and conversational in Gujarati.
