Dr. Anna Lange earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry. She completed her residency in ocular disease with emphasis in co-managing retinal pathology, glaucoma, anterior segment pathology, oculoplastics, strabismus, pediatrics, and specialty contact lens fittings at Fromer Eye Centers in New York.
Dr. Lange is an award recipient for outstanding volunteer commitment to community service and was inducted into Golden Key International Honor Society. She has been ranked as one of the top 175 doctors on Newsweek’s America’s Best Eye Doctors in 2021 and 2022, landing in the top 10 rankings in New York City and State both years. She is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of the State University of New York, College of Optometry.
She is an active member of the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association and New York State Optometric Association. She has participated in national and international medical mission trips to Tennessee, Panama, Mexico and Peru. She has presented posters at academic meetings and delivered a COPE (The Council on Optometric Practitioner Education) approved lecture. Dr. Lange is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Lange speaks fluent English, Russian and Spanish.
