Dr. Abolade Oduyemi earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science. He completed a residency in Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation and Ocular Disease at Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin. Specialized training in neuro optometric rehabilitation allows him to work with patients who have suffered from traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and other neurological conditions to improve their visual function and quality of life. Knowledge in ocular disease enables him to diagnose and treat conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Additionally, his training in post-operative care allows him to provide comprehensive and personalized care to patients who have undergone eye surgeries.
Dr. Oduyemi is a recipient of the College of Vision Development (COVD) award for Excellence in Vision Therapy. He has presented academic posters at the American Academy of Optometry.Â
