Susan Fromer, M.D.

Ophthalmologist Manhattan | Dr. Susan Fromer, M.D. | New York City Dr. Susan Fromer is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, and laser vision correction. She graduated with honors from Rutgers University. She went on to receive her medical degree at NYU Medical School. She then completed a medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and residency training at St Vincent's Hospital. She has done additional training in cornea and laser refractive surgery at Mercy Hospital. She has been board-certified since 1992. In 2004. Dr. Susan Fromer was preceptor for a glaucoma fellowship with Dr. Maurice Luntz at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York. More recently Dr. Fromer was an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital where she participated in training the residents in ophthalmic surgery.
