Dr. Fromer specializes in laser vision correction procedures including LASIK (laser assisted in-situ keratomileusis) and PRK (photo-refractive keratectomy). Dr. Fromer performs no-stitch cataract surgery, and has been performing laser surgery for glaucoma, diabetic retinal disease, and age related diseases of the retina since 1988.
Dr. Mark Fromer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been board-certified since 1988. After his undergraduate education at Hebrew University and Michigan State University, where he earned highest honors, Dr. Fromer earned his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School (UMDNJ). He then completed his internship and residency training at St. Vincent's Hospital & Medical Center of New York, as well as a vitreoretinal fellowship in trauma and diabetic eye care at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. He is a principal investigator in the diagnostic use of the new technology developed by Heidelberg instruments for the early detection and treatment of diabetic macular edema.
Dr. Fromer is the Eye Surgeon Director for the New York Rangers (National Hockey League) and the World Oyama Karate Organization, in addition to several other local institutions.

Dr. Susan Fromer is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, and laser vision correction. She graduated with honors from Rutgers University. She went on to receive her medical degree at NYU Medical School. She then completed a medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and residency training at St Vincent's Hospital. She has done additional training in cornea and laser refractive surgery at Mercy Hospital. She has been board-certified since 1992. In 2004 Dr. Susan Fromer preceptor for glaucoma fellowship with Dr. Maurice Luntz at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York. More recently Dr. Fromer was an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital where she participated in training the residents in ophthalmic surgery.

Dr. Maurice Luntz is an internationally renowned glaucoma specialist. A native of South Africa, he earned his medical degree from the University of Cape Town, and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. His post-graduate education included residency and fellowship training at Western Ophthalmic Hospital - St Mary's Hospital & Medical School - University of London. He was a lecturer in ophthalmology at the Eye Hospital, and University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K. He has been board-certified since 1978.Dr. Luntz served as surgeon director and director of glaucoma services for Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. He previously served as director of the department of ophthalmology at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Luntz continues to lecture, teach, and he has written more than 175 articles and 10 books on Ophthalmology and all aspects of glaucoma

Dr. Brian Brazzo is a board-certified ophthalmologist whose scope of practice includes the most advanced techniques in plastic surgery. He specializes in oculoplastic surgery, which combines cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and tear duct system.
Dr. Brazzo is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his post-graduate training in ophthalmology at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and was an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellow at the William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan.
Dr. Brazzo is currently a clinical ophthalmologist at Weill Medical College in New York and Director of Oculoplastics services at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is on the staff of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and serves as an attending physician at New York - Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Brazzo is currently active in ophthalmic research. He is an editor of numerous books on oculoplastic surgery, and is a featured lecturer and author of numerous articles and papers. He is recognized as one of the most experienced oculoplastic and cosmetic surgeons in the area.

Dr. Danièle Jean is an optometrist. She graduated from Inter American University of Puerto Rico, School of Optometry. She completed a residency in primary care at State University of New York (SUNY) School of Optometry. She is certified in the differential diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. She also specializes in specialty contact les fitting including rigid gas permeable and multifocal lenses. She has practiced in multidisciplinary settings such as Woodhull Hospital and Comprehensive Eye care in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the recipient of two research grants from the National Eye Institute. She participated in research at the University of Houston, College of Optometry. The results from her investigations have been published in many publications in her field including Eye and Contact Lens. Dr. Danièle Jean is fluent in Spanish, French and Creole. She is a member of the National Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She is currently working toward becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Julia King is an optometrist. She specializes in the treatment and management of ocular disease including glaucoma, laser vision correction co-management, and contact lens fittings. She attended the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate studies and earned her optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University. She completed internships at Clayton Eye Center in Atlanta, GA and Aker-Kasten Surgical Center in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. King practiced at Vision Care Specialists in Colorado until she relocated to New York City. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and New York State Optometric Association.

Dr. Lisa Modesto is an optometrist who has received her fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry. She graduated with honors from the State University of New York College of Optometry where she also completed her residency in ocular disease. She specializes in the differential diagnosis and management of glaucoma, diseases of the retina and the visual pathway and in co-managing cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgeries. Dr. Modesto has experience in providing eye care in multidisciplinary hospital settings. Her previous experience was at Woodhull hospital and at the Northport and Newington VA hospitals. She is also knowledgeable in specialty contact lens fits such as astigmatic, multifocal and rigid gas permeable lenses. Dr. Modesto provides general primary eye care as well. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Modesto has participated in research and has several scientific publications in her field.

Dr. Jason E. Compton earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the SUNY State University of New York and completed a residency in ocular disease at the Wilmington Delaware Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Compton specializes in advanced procedures such as hard-to-fit contact lenses (including astigmatism), rigid gas permeable lenses and multi-focal contact lens fitting. He provides nonsurgical diagnostic and therapeutic care of the eye including medical eye examinations, refractive surgery consultations, pre-operative and post-operative care, treatment of minor eye injuries, and the diagnosis and management of a variety of ocular diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. He is currently an active member of the New York State Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Diane Calderon received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) and completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at the The Eye Institute at PCO. She held a faculty appointment at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL prior to returning to her hometown of NYC. Dr. Calderon specializes in the treatment and management of ocular disease as well as laser vision correction co-management and contact lens fittings. She has presented posters and published papers in various topics in primary care and ocular disease. Dr. Calderon is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Clinical Examiner of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association. She is fluent in Spanish and has participated in numerous mission trips providing eye care to communities in Central and South America.
